Love Christmas Elves - Shopping Week!

Jesus said it’s more blessed to give than to receive and at B&A Church our excitement for Christmas starts with Love Christmas a nationwide campaign that gives Christmas gifts to people knocked by the storms of life and those living and working in challenging circumstances. 

At B&A Church we raised £11,500 for Love Christmas this year. This money will go to local communties, to families, asylum seekers as well as our own Little Church groups supporting the marginalised and lonely. That’s over 1000 gift bags packed and ready to deliver by B&A.

To make this happen in time for Love Christmas packing week (December 11 - 15th), Liz and Chanel, our Love Christmas Elves have been out shopping hard. So far they they have purchased:

345 shower gels, 360 boxes of Lindor, 246 tins of biscuits, 245 toothbrushes and lots and lots of other lovely treats….. They even got their own helper from M&S Eastgate, Guido, who rolled their sky-high trolleys out to the waiting van. Read more B&A for Love Christmas here.
