Get Ready - Sundays are moving to 279

In September we are moving the Sunday Gathering from B&A St Andrew's Park to our new home at 279 Gloucester Road. Our new home has more space for us to gather, is right on the Gloucester Road to reach out to our local community and, of course, has loads of toilets! over the past few months it has been amazing seeing how many of our Little Churches and other activities have settled into life at 279 and hear stories of how God has been working and now we all get to join in on Sundays.

Like any move there's lots to do. But there is one key thing we want to invite everyone to get involved in. And that is ensuring this next exciting step is covered in prayer and worship.

Pray for 279

We are opening 279 for prayer on Monday 28th (10am - 4pm), Tuesday 29th (9am - 5pm), Wednesday 30th (9am - 5pm) and Thursday 31st (9am - 5pm). Come in and pray for it to be a place where people encounter God. There will be worship Tuesday to Thursday at 9am for 30 mins.

If you can’t make it to the building, then please set aside time to pray for it wherever you are. Why not find a set time each day to pray for the move and for how God will use 279 for his glory in the coming years.

Fast for a day

We know God chooses to work through fasting. When we fast (food or something else you use regularly but don’t need) we weaken ourselves and ask God to bring breakthrough. We don’t want to just relocate what we have been doing, we want to see Kingdom breakthrough at this critical moment, so we think it’s right to invite everyone to fast.

Worship in the building.

We have a sense that God wants us to arrive on Sunday 3rd September from B&A St Andrews Park with the space having had worship in it. So we’re going to run 24hrs of worship in 279 from 12pm on Saturday 2nd until 12pm on Sunday 3rd. To do that we need two people in the building at all times. So that’s 48 sign ups! Details of how to sign up are available via the church office or your Little Church.
